ESPN against SOCCER!

Has anyone heard of soccer in the United States? Don't answer that! We can thank ESPN for annihilating us with non-stop analysis of major league baseball highlights and in-depth coverage of college football defensive schemes. Or is it maybe that ESPN has no good U.S. soccer news to report?...Is not the U.S. team qualifying for the World Cup deserving of some expert coverage, or a front page that last more than 5 hours? If you're into soccer and have gone to the ESPN page, you know that the only link to soccer is about the same size as this font!..."Wait a minute!", you inject, "what about ESPNSoccernet?"...Have you gone too that page? It will take you about 10 minutes to find any substantial information on the status of the U.S. soccer team. In these search days that's ridiculous!!!...Their coverage on European Soccer is the best in the business, hands down! In the end it all comes down to what makes money. In Europe, soccer is gold! Here in the states soccer is as relevant as the NFL's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after a winning touchdown is scored!
